A very practical question for you...

We're about a month away from Thanksgiving, and I have a practical question for you...

How much are you planning to spend on your family's Thanksgiving dinner?

Families typically spend between $50 and $100 on Thanksgiving dinner. Perhaps your family will spend a bit more or a bit less this year.

+ + Set a second table this Thanksgiving...

Whatever your amount is, would you consider taking part in Mercy Chefs' Holiday Outreach by setting a second table of hospitality for those in need this holiday season and making a donation equal to what you're planning on spending?

And here's the best part...

Mercy Chefs can feed a family of four a delicious, chef-prepared holiday meal for just $20! So if you are like the typical family that spends about $100 this Thanksgiving, your gift of $100 to Mercy Chefs will provide FIVE FAMILIES of four with a chef-prepared Thanksgiving dinner, complete with all the trimmings!

+ + They may not have Thanksgiving without our help...

This year, Mercy Chefs is providing holiday meals to those who were hit hard by disaster. From the Saturday before Thanksgiving through Thanksgiving Day, our team will be in Southeast Louisiana providing meals to folks whose lives were turned upside down by Hurricane Ida. That monster storm damaged 90% of the homes in some communities. Countless families are living in temporary housing and FEMA trailers which aren't able to cook a turkey!

We're still finalizing our outreach schedule, but as of right now we're working to provide holiday meals in cities across the country in addition to our efforts in Louisiana.

In all, we'll serve thousands of meals this holiday season.

But to do so, I need your help.

Will you stand with Mercy Chefs to provide holiday meals for hurting families by matching or even exceeding what you plan on spending on your family's Thanksgiving dinner? Go here now to make your tax-deductible gift and sponsor 10, 20, 50 or even 100 holiday meals:

The holidays can be a very difficult time of year, especially in communities that are still reeling from natural disaster. Your gift to Mercy Chefs will help us provide what may be the only Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner a family has!

Can I count on your help? Will you partner with me to provide holiday meals to hurting families? Thanks you in advance, and God bless you!

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs

P.S. We can serve a full Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner for about $5. That means your gift of $30 will provide Thanksgiving dinner to six people; $50 feeds 10 people; $100 feeds five families of four a Thanksgiving meal! Please consider matching or exceeding what your family will spend on Thanksgiving dinner. Go here to make your tax-deductible gift to help sponsor holiday meals for those less fortunate:
