Deploying to Dallas TODAY!

I'm sure you heard about the massive tornado that just struck the Dallas area...

An EF-3 tornado with winds up to 140MPH ripped through North Dallas communities, leaving a trail of wreckage in its path. Schools were closed and thousands left without power. One witness said it "looks like bombs went off."

+ + We are DEPLOYING TODAY!

As I write, Mercy Chefs is DEPLOYING to provide hot meals to victims and volunteers in the North Dallas area. Our Chef Jay Bachman is taking the lead in setting up a kitchen as our base of operations. A refrigerated truck is arriving tonight and we hope to be serving meals as soon as tomorrow.

Having already served tens of thousands of meals to disaster victims since early September, we need your help to respond on behalf of our friends and neighbors in the Dallas area. Will you partner with Mercy Chefs? Go here to make a tax-deductible gift to help us provide hot meals to victims and volunteers in Dallas while we continue other vital efforts:

Based on what we are hearing from our contacts there, the damage is much worse than what is being reported in the national news.

Again, we are DEPLOYING TODAY and expect to be serving meals as soon as TOMORROW!

Can you help? Go here to help Dallas tornado victims, and thanks in advance for your partnership.

P.S. This is an opportunity to help our friends in Texas who have been so generous in supporting Mercy Chefs' many relief efforts over the years. As soon as tomorrow, we'll be serving hundreds of victims and volunteers. But to do so, we need your help. Go here:
