Massive Tornado DISASTER -- Help Mercy Chefs provide a Beacon of Hope and long-term relief for tornado victims in Kentucky

A massive tornado strike hit Kentucky and surrounding states in what may be one of the most devastating tornadoes we've ever seen -- just two weeks before Christmas. Our Mercy Chefs team mobilized to Mayfield within hours of the strike and has served thousands of meals to victims, first responders and volunteers,

To meet the long-term needs in the region, Mercy Chefs has officially launched our Beacon of Hope Kitchen to serve the communities of Western Kentucky that are starting the long road to recovery from last month's tornadoes. Our Beacon of Hope Kitchen will service Graves County and the surrounding areas using a four-fold approach:

    • Providing hot meals to individuals and communities in need.
    • Supporting local agencies providing continued tornado relief.
    • Providing lodging and meals for long-term relief teams traveling to the area.
    • Implementing the Mercy Chefs Grocery Box Distribution Program in Western Kentucky.

UPDATE -- Our Beacon of Hope has officially launched! Now we need your help to bring long-term relief to the region.

Just $50 helps provide 14 meals. If you can contribute $105 you'll be helping feed 30 people. Perhaps the Lord has blessed you, and you can sponsor 100 meals ($350), 200 meals ($700), or even 350 meals ($1,000). Please use the form below to make your best possible, tax-deductible gift to Mercy Chefs. Will you reach out with the compassion of Jesus with Mercy Chefs to help mothers and children who are caught in the crossfire of this geopolitical tragedy? Just $35 will help feed 10 people; $50 feeds about 14 people; $105 feeds 30 people. You can sponsor an entire meal for 280 people for just $1,000. Help Mercy Chefs bring relief at the site of the tragic Miami condo collapse...

We received a call for help from our friends in Miami after the collapse of the condominium building in the community of Surfside (just north of Miami). Mercy Chefs responded immediately and we have mobilized to serve meals to search and rescue workers.

These are very difficult conditions for rescue workers. One of the workers told us they can only do 30-minute shifts with the respirators on because of the dangerous chemicals the fire is giving off. Please help us bring relief to these workers and comfort to this devastated community!

(To watch Gary's most recent video, go here.)

UPDATE: We've been asked to provide AROUND THE CLOCK meal service to the search and rescue workers. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP! Please help by sponsoring meals today!

Just $35 helps provide 10 meals during disaster deployments while helping to continue other vital efforts. If you can contribute $100 you'll be helping feed 28 people. Perhaps the Lord has blessed you, and you can sponsor 100 meals ($350), 200 meals ($700), or even 350 meals ($1,000). Help Dorian Victims in the Bahamas

We need your help to establish a base on Abaco and help those hardest hit!

Mercy Chefs has been on the front-lines of bringing relief to hurricane-ravaged Bahamas. We are now preparing for the next major phase of our efforts on the hardest hit islands of Grand Bahama and Abaco — rebuilding churches and pastors' homes in these hardest-hit areas so these churches can then serve as a base to rebuild from.

As a first priority, Mercy Chefs must immediately establish a base of operations on Abaco. This base will have a kitchen that can serve as a hub of all the reconstruction activities and provide hot meals to the teams that come. We also must quickly construct a bunkhouse to house the rebuilding crews.

We estimate the cost of establishing the base of operations with the kitchen and the bunkhouse to be $50,000. We simply don't have these funds in our budget, but this is a relatively small amount considering that with these funds we can help re-establish THE CHURCH on Abaco as the very epicenter of the rebuilding process! EVERY GIFT WILL HELP! Please use the form below to help Mercy Chefs establish this new base on Abaco and continue other vital efforts.

    Recovery For Hurricane Michael Victims...

Help us bring relief to thousands of kids still homeless from Hurricane Michael!

Hurricane Michael was the fourth largest storm in U.S. history -- but has received less aid than any hurricane that Mercy Chefs has ever seen. With 40% of all buildings in Panama City still uninhabitable, thousands are being forced to the streets and reports indicate at least 5,500 children are now homeless!

Panama City officials have given us one of the shut down schools with a complete kitchen as our base of operations. Mercy Chefs will serve between 5,000 and 15,000 meals EVERY WEEK while providing lodging for 80-100 volunteers who will help with the recovery.

CRITICAL NEED THIS WEEK: We are already serving meals but must finish our work converting the school facility in the "Beacon Of Hope" center. Can you help us get this done THIS WEEK?

Four friends donating $50 can help equip a bunk. Two friends contributing $100 will build and equip a bunk. Perhaps you can sponsor one bunk for $200, two bunks for $400, or even five bunks for $1,000. Your gift will help Mercy Chefs continue to support the Panhandle and other regions impacted by natural disasters while we continue other efforts. Please complete the form below to make your tax-deductible gift to Mercy Chefs!
