Ohio update

All this week, our Mercy Chefs team has had the privilege of helping to meet the needs of those helping in the aftermath of the tornadoes that hit the Dayton region. As we noted, some of the neighborhoods were unrecognizable as the destruction from tornadoes as strong as EF-4 ripped through communities.

This is precisely why Mercy Chefs exists -- to help meet a critical need during times of disaster and provide hot meals that feed "body and soul."

It's been a real struggle here for those impacted by the "swarm" of tornadoes. We now know that 15 tornadoes struck the Dayton region on the evening of Memorial Day. This was one of the hardest hit areas this Spring, and Mercy Chefs has been on the ground providing help. While much of our efforts have focused on supporting the volunteer and relief teams that have come to the area, our staff and volunteers have been providing hot meals to many victims as well. And every time we serve a meal, it sends a message that someone cares.

That someone is YOU! Your generosity makes this ministry possible!

Our team will be serving meals in this tornado disaster zone through tomorrow, and we can still use your help! If you want to help fellow Americans who have had their lives turned upside down by these tornadoes, while we continue other efforts, please consider making a special tax-deductible gift to Mercy Chefs today. Go here:

Just $30 can make a difference and help provide up to 12 meals. $50 will get 20 meals served and $100 helps us reach 40 folks and feed "body and soul."

This has been an incredibly busy and productive last few weeks for Mercy Chefs. In addition to this Ohio deployment, we're launching a major effort on the Florida Panhandle to reach thousands of kids still homeless as a result of Hurricane Michael. And we are partnering to feed disadvantaged youths in Texas while we work to help restore our Haiti kitchen that was destroyed by fire.

That's why your support right now is so vital! Thank you in advance, and may God bless you!
