Situation DIRE in tornado-ravaged town; HELP NEEDED

Wednesday late morning, from Mayfield

The situation here in tornado-ravaged Mayfield remains DIRE. For many, there's no power and that means no heat and perhaps most critically, NO POTABLE (drinking) WATER. When you are in a disaster zone, you very quickly realize that DRINKABLE WATER is the first lifeline that must be restored.

As of this morning, there is no ETA on restoration of these basic utilities.

That means what we're doing on the ground at the epicenter of this strike is even more critical. Today, we're again serving both lunch and dinner to tornado victims and volunteers here in Mayfield and surrounding communities.

Plus, we're feeding search and rescue workers over at the destroyed candle factory day and night -- in addition to delivering meals to senior care facilities and other places that need special help.

The situation here in Mayfield is still critical and we still need your support! Please help sponsor hot meals for tornado victims and volunteers we'll feed TODAY! Go here to make your tax-deductible gift:

+ + Young boy and his family barely survived...

Your support is making a real difference here in Mayfield. Yesterday during one of our deliveries, our team member was able to talk with a young boy (pictured here) who shared their family's harrowing story. As the storm approached, the boy told his sister to go to their dad's bedroom. This boy was still in the hallway when the roof of their house was ripped off. Thankfully, he and his family survived.

This storm was a nightmare for so many. But the meals you are helping to sponsor are helping to bring hope!

If you have already donated, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Of course, if you can give again it would be a great blessing. If you haven't yet supported our work in Mayfield, please prayerfully consider helping TODAY!

Thank you and God bless,

Gary LeBlanc
