Tornado victims: HELP needed for Christmas

As I announced earlier this week, our Mercy Chefs team will be providing hot meals to the tornado victims in Kentucky all this Christmas week, Christmas Day, and into next week.

Members of my team volunteered to give up much of their Christmas holiday with their families to make sure the tornado victims in Kentucky have hot meals this week and on Christmas Day.

Now, we need help from friends like you to sponsor these meals this week.

Will you help sponsor 5, 10, 20, or even 50 meals for tornado victims this Christmas week? Go here to help with tornado relief while we continue other efforts:

We served our first meals in Mayfield just hours after the tornado hit. And thanks to you, we've been delivering hot, chef-prepared meals to victims and volunteers in Mayfield and surround communities almost non-stop since then -- even through the night for emergency workers.

Now I need you help to ease the pain this Christmas week for tornado victims. Go here.

Thanks in advance and God Bless,

Gary LeBlanc

P.S. Last week, a person who was in line to receive a meal burst into tears when someone mentioned Christmas. "I hadn't even thought about Christmas," he said. He had lost a family member and his home in the tornado, and he was too overwhelmed to even process it all. It broke our hearts. That's why my team is staying through Christmas.

If you already helped, THANK YOU SO MUCH! If you haven't yet donated for tornado relief, please do so today! Our staff is serving hot meals every day this week, including a special meal on Christmas day. Go here:
